Today’s nuclear industry faces a number of challenges relating to the operation of existing fleets and the construction of new plants. While it is not often recognized, the challenges facing a 40+ year old plant and a new one can be overlapping. As this workshop takes place in the United States, this session will look at the issues facing stakeholders in the US. Presenters will cover what they see as the major challenges to operating existing plants and building new ones over the next 5 years.
